The key to a healthy urethra? Radishes.

It's Sunday night, I'm full of beans and salad and kofte and tsatziki, and now I'm feeling slightly queasy; what better time than to update the Year of Projects list.

I've finished something - the Vianne.  I wore it out that night, didn't manage to take any pictures mostly because I forgot, but also because I'm not entirely sure about it.

Here's a picture, and I blogged about it here.

I restarted the Petrie top in the yellow wool cotton from Liberty, it did look a bit too like a minion, so I remade the hem facing in orange instead, so now it looks like a Starburst instead, which I think is better and I can call it a St Clements top now.

I'm halfway through the Elwood mittens for Lucy, as in I've made one and have done half of the ribbing for the second one.  It's a bit dull making the second one.

The Weather Blanket is still the same as it was last week; but it's so close to being done it no longer worries me.  As the weather gets worse, I'll want three stone of wool on my lap, so it'll be finished before my birthday.  Famous last words.

The rest is still the same.

  1. Sorry to hear about the Vivian giving you troubles. The color and lace look good. Do you think you'll redo any of it?

    1. I can't redo it; I've sewn a ribbon on the button band, and I used my sewing machine, so that's it. I also made the button holes on my machine, and cut my knitting (gasp) so it's stuck as it is. I just don't think I suit a cropped cardigan. Too much bust.

  2. I love the colour of your vianne and it looks great on the hanger! I must admit, I'm not sure about mine. I'm not keen on the length and I'm still not sure if I will lengthen it or not.

  3. Your Vianne looks pretty but if your not sure about it then that's a different matter. Will you frog and reuse the yarn for a different cardigan or make it longer? Looking forward to seeing your Petrie now that it's a starburst. Ruth.

  4. Well, Vianne looks very pretty on the hanger. What is it that you are unsure about? Is it the fit? I found that a few times - I made something and it looked great, as long as I don't put it on, lol.

In any case, it does look very pretty, and I hope you will get some wear out of it! :)
