There's something about flying a kite at night that seems so unwholesome

Those of you who are interested in my knitting will be thrilled to hear that the last Year of Projects is over, and that we are now into the next one.  Even though it's uncharacteristically hot here (warm weather in summer, who knew?), I'm thinking about knitting a lot, and I've got my to do list ready.  Brace yourselves.

Me:
Petrie top in Yellow Wool Cotton from Liberty
Miette cardigan in Lemon
Cream and Beige Coco style boatneck striped top
Rainbow Raglan to replace the one I lost
Sun-Ray Ribbing Vintage Jumper
This One's for Parties Vintage Jumper
Finish the Vianne in time for the end of the Outfit Along.
Finish the Wisteria so that when it gets cold, I will be warm
Finish the Peacock Mittens, ditto

Simon:
Reknit his Cobblestone jumper
A pair of massive MAN SOCKS

Lucy:
Elwood mittens
Mini Hetty cardigan with sleeves

Hattie:
Burton Bear cowl
Mini Hetty cardigan with sleeves

Blankets:
Owl Blanket for Robin's Christmas present
Bright Rainbow Blanket for Lucy
Minion blanket for Hattie
Finish the &%^%^&^%&^ing Weather Blanket
100 *(&*&*&^*^%&&^%ing Hexipuffs

It looks doable now.  Ask me again in a fortnight.

    1. I hope so. I'm sure I'll add to it as the year goes on.

  2. You can do it! You will have those all knocked out before you know it and then it will be time for year 6! Great list

  4. Some great projects there, and that's the beauty of YOP, you can chop and change as the mood takes you. Looking forward to seeing your Vianne, mine has stalled a little for a moment while I finish socks!

    1. It's a quick pattern, isn't it? I'm nearly at the end of the body now, and I only really got back into it last week.

  5. Your list looks fun, with the exception of hexipuffs. I started those and couldn't handle just how many I'd have to make and gave the ones I made to someone for cat toys no less.

    1. Hexipuffs aren't everyone's cup of tea, I admit, but I like them for the instant high of a finished object every 20 minutes!

  6. That's an impressive list! You've reminded me that somewhere in my closet I've got some Hexipuffs. I need to get back to that project at some point.

    1. Sew them together and you'll have an idea of how much you need to get on with. Then break it down. Then put it on the sofa and ignore it!

  7. Good for you! It's definitely more doable than my past lists. I love planning but the doing and finishing....well now, that's another story. It all sounds so wonderful and easy when I make the list and I'm so motivated at that time. Then I get tired! LOL!

    1. I know, same here! Which is why I have a houseful of yarn and fabric!

  8. It does look do-able. I haven't even done mine, but I really hope I can come up with something achievable like that, because I am planning to attempt Christmas presents this year so I need to pace myself!
